Alana Brekelmans is a multimodal storyteller and PhD candidate in anthropology at The University of Queensland, Australia. Her thesis examines how settler-descendent pastoralists in North West Queensland express stories, memories, and experiences. She is particularly interested in bodily movement and weather-world relations as narrative acts. Her own storytelling extends across creative writing, performance art, life modelling, podcasting, and photography.
