We’re pleased to offer our first post by VISCERAL co-editor Lina Beatriz Pinto-García in both Spanish and English, entitled Moscas Artilladas / Weaponized Flies. This post encapsulates the types of work we hope to showcase in this subsection — ethnographic essays that imaginatively explore the ways in which creative practices are taken up by artists and scholars alike to reflect on medicine, scientific practice, and embodied realities, through an engagement with the multi-sensorial (images, sound, written text).
